Bethany continually collects nonperishable food items which are donated to local food pantries. The last time the food was delivered, the shelter director mentioned they especially need macaroni and cheese, fruit cups, and soup

Bethany is working with the Community West Socks Program to collect new socks to be donated to local homeless shelters. The donation box is in the Welcoming Room.

If you see a great deal on toys when you are out shopping, go ahead and scoop it up! The Outreach Committee will once again be collecting toys for the Christmas Toy Drive sponsored by Building Hope in the City. BHITC is a great resource right in our neighborhood. They help recent refugees who are making Cleveland their new home.
There will be a box for this collection in the Welcoming Room.

Items needed are notebooks, folders, pencils, pens, erasers, rulers, scissors, glue, markers, colored pencils, crayons, and especially backpacks and other reusable tote bags to pack the school supplies.

Collections can be dropped off in the labeled bins in the Welcoming Room for the whole month of
August.
